Thank you for your support, we are so grateful for the opportunity to help others by sharing your story. Many of our beneficiaries say they would like to give something back to ABS and this is a really valuable way to do this. Every story shared enables others in the architectural community to know they are not alone, understand how we can support them and give them the confidence to ask for help.
We commit to ensuring your story will be treated with sensitivity in all our communications which will be shared on our website, social media channels and campaigns and appeals. From time to time, we may also use your story, or quotes from your story, in additional marketing materials such as publications, external presentations or other print and online media. We are grateful for as much or as little as you are comfortable with sharing. Whilst a story resonates really strongly with a photograph and a name attached to it, we do understand that not everyone feels comfortable to do this. If you wish to remain anonymous, please let us know on our media consent form.
You can submit your story in writing, or we can arrange a time that is convenient to you to talk through the experiences you would like to share. We will then write your story at our end and send to you for review. We will never share anything without your permission. To help you get started we have put together a few guiding points below:
If you would like to discuss sharing your story please contact Diego at communications@absnet.org.uk, or you can get in touch with Deirdre or Ruth at help@absnet.org.uk
Before submitting your story, we ask you to please give us permission to share by completing our media consent form.
