Archi Velo 170

Event Review

Thank you to everyone involved in the Archi Velo 170 bike which took place in August 2021.

Fifty riders took part and covered well over 8,500 miles of distance between them.

Due to their amazing efforts and all the people who supported them with fundraising the event raised over £3490 in fundraising, which will go towards supporting the work of ABS.

Original Event Details

Archi Velo 170 is taking place from the 1st – 31st of August 2021. Participants are encouraged to cycle 170 miles in one day, over one weekend, or throughout the month.

The 170 miles marks and celebrates our 170th anniversary as a charity back in November 2020. To mark this occasion ABS launched our Foundation of Support campaign providing renewed focus on core support services Money and Debt, Employment, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Housing Advice and Physical Health and Disability.

ABS is incredibly grateful to all the riders taking part and raising awareness about the work of the charity.

This event has been organised in-aid of ABS by long-term supports of the charity Archi Velo . This is Archi Velo’s third event organised to support the work of ABS. In 2019 Archi Velo rode from Glasgow to London raising over £11,500 in donations.
