AMWF Presents – Lessons from Australia: In Conversation with Brian Clohessy

In our first event of 2021, the Architects’ Mental Wellbeing Forum will hear from BVN, an Australian practice with an exemplary and innovative approach to employee wellbeing.

BVN’s Head of People and Character, Brian Clohessy, will share some of the strategies employed by the practice in their mission to foster a culture of care and support within which everyone has a sense of purpose and place.  Many of these ideas will be helpful to architects and studio managers keen to better support their staff here in the UK.

Brian has also played a key role in establishing AMWF Australia, and this session will provide the opportunity to explore some of the common challenges faced by both the British and Australian professions so that we can learn from each other.  The event will also feature a short message from the co-founder of AMWF Australia, Angelina Pillai.

This event is in collaboration with AMWF UK, AMWF Australia, the RIBA and Architects Benevolent Society.
