Tell a friend, colleague or family member and follow our #FoundationOfSupport campaign.
The Architects Benevolent Society has been a foundation of support to so many over the years. To celebrate we have launched the Foundation of Support campaign to coincide with our 170th anniversary, alongside a new website and video content to showcasing the wide-ranging support available.
This campaign has been developed specifically in response to potential beneficiaries unaware of the variety of help available to them. As a charity, we receive many calls, emails and referrals from people looking for a help from one of our support services, unaware that we can assist them in other areas of their lives that might be affected due to their initial enquiry. That is why this campaign is so essential; we want potential beneficiaries to have a clear understanding about what is available to them, should they need it.
From December 2020 to September 2021, we will be focusing on our five support services, showcasing the amazing work that our partners such as Shelter and Anxiety UK do for our beneficiaries. We will also be featuring stories and testimonials from the individuals and families have been helped by ABS and our partners.
Throughout the year we will be sharing new stories and digital content surrounding our five support services and our partners. We will be asking our beneficiaries and supporters to join us in this campaign to help spread the message by telling a friend, colleague or family member.
Use and follow the hashtag #FoundationOfSupport and tell people who may need assistance and let them know the Society is a foundation of support for the wider architectural community, their families and students and remind them of our five key support services.
If you’re experiencing housing difficulties, we can help you keep a roof over your head and make sure your living conditions are safe, secure and suitable for your needs through our partnership with Shelter.
Getting help with financial difficulties early on can stop them spiraling out of control and causing serious psychological strain.
Living with ill-health or disability – or caring for someone affected – can have a huge impact on you at work and at home. But we can help you to stay independent and improve your quality of life.
