We are currently recruiting new Trustees to join our Board at Architects Benevolent Society (ABS). As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our charity, helping us continue to provide crucial support to the architectural community and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and ensure we meet our charitable objectives.
- Work collaboratively with the Welfare Team to ensure resources are managed effectively and support is adequately resourced.
- Ensure ABS is compliant with all legal requirements and operates in the best interests of our beneficiaries.
Who We’re Looking For

- Living and working outside Greater London or in Northern Ireland.
- From ethnically diverse or marginalised groups.
- With a gender identity other than male.
Requirements
- Commitment to the charity’s purpose and values.
- Strategic vision and understanding of charity governance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while constructively challenging when necessary.
This is a voluntary role, but expenses such as travel and childcare will be reimbursed.
