This year, ABS was delighted that the team at Howells received the award for their incredible support hosting the annual ABS Chicken Run, a 5km fun run through London raising vital funds for the charity’s support services.
The award was presented at the annual WCCA Awards Dinner by ABS Chief Executive Rob Ball who says:
“The support Howells provided in hosting the Chicken Run this year was pivotal to its success, bringing more runners together than ever before and raising significant funds to enable us to continue to be here for those who need us. Being community focused is a core value of ABS, and Howells engagement as our corporate partner with this event is a perfect example of the impact we can have within our community when we work together. I am delighted to be able to present this year’s WCCA Award to the team at Howells.”
The Awards Dinner was held at Apothecaries’ Hall in London where team members Monika Narvydaite and Jamie Parish attended to receive the award on behalf of Howells.
“The award of recognition for Howells efforts in supporting ABS means a lot to us, and we are thrilled to make a difference during these challenging times. We were delighted to host the annual 5km Chicken Run through central London to bring the architectural community together and raise over £10,000 to allow ABS to continue their important work going forward. Being able to make a small contribution and to make a positive difference to friends and family within the architectural community is important to Howells and we look forward to supporting ABS in the future.” – Howells
ABS would also like to give thanks to Karen Cook and the team at SPICE Design for their beautiful design of this year’s award plate, and WCCA for their generous donation which was presented to ABS Chair Mark Grzegorczyk.
