Architects Benevolent Society are excited to welcome Aled Rees to our board of trustees. As part of his role, Aled will be representing The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
Aled has been a vital member of our ABS Ambassador network over the past 2 years and we look forward to the experience and enthusiasm he will bring to ABS as our new trustee.
ABS Chair Geoffrey Purves says: “I am delighted to have Aled Rees join our dedicated team. I am sure he will bring fresh new ideas to the role. I look forward to working with him, developing and promoting our need for support to the wider architectural community and continuing our strong relationship with CIAT.”
Aled says: “Having been an Ambassador for 2 years, I was honoured to be invited on the Trustee Board as the CIAT representative. Having seen what we can do for the Architectural Community, I’m looking forward to get going and helping push The Society on further and reaching more people. I do believe we have only touched the tip of the iceberg.”
Aled has over 15 years of experience successfully developing and leading a range of projects from domestic, commercial, social, housing and healthcare and became a Chartered Architectural Technologist in 2016. He is currently the Chair of the Wales Region for CIAT and undertakes mentoring of future applicants.
We look forward to working with him.
