We understand that people may be facing uncertainty and increased anxiety at this time. Through our partnership with Anxiety UK we can provide quick access to a range of mental health support including counselling which can take place over the phone, by email or Skype. We can also offer financial support in the case of redundancy or illness. We are urgently looking into how we can maximise and expand this to help those in the profession affected by the global pandemic.
Of course, our priority is with our beneficiaries, staff, ambassadors, and supporters and we are doing everything we can to minimise the impact and reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are reviewing our service delivery and, in line with the Government’s advice, are postponing all our upcoming events including our annual Chicken Run and Bake The World A Better Place until further notice. We are monitoring the situation and hope that we will be able to reschedule these soon. All supporters who have signed up to these events will be contacted directly.
We are fortunate that our staff are in a position where they can work from home without interruption of most of our services. However, we will not continue to visit our beneficiaries in person at this time.
