Chicken Run 2020

Date: Saturday 6th June, 2020 at 9:30am

We’re pleased to announce that the ABS Chicken Run 2020 is confirmed! This year, in the run up to our 170th anniversary in November, we’re raising awareness on the full spectrum of support services we offer. So, runners and aspiring runners, it is time to get training and get sponsored to raise as much as you can for ABS!

Thanks to Orms for hosting for the second year running.

Individuals and practices SIGN UP NOW

Not sure you feel like running 5k on a Saturday morning but would like to help? We’re in need of volunteers to marshal the route. Please get in touch: VOLUNTEER NOW

This year, we want to ruffle some feathers so we’re introducing a little competition between practices. Watch this space!

There will also be our usual prizes.

Runners will start at the new offices of ABS, in Brewery Square SE1 2LF, and follow a 5km route along the river passing the scenic sights of Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and HMS Belfast and continuing through the City of London, before finishing at Orm’s studio near Old Street roundabout*.

At the finish line, runners will be welcomed to the Orms after-party for food, drinks and games. We also invite family, friends and supporters picked-up along the way, to join us in marking the start of the summer season and raising funds for the work of ABS. We encourage runners of all abilities.

The map of the route will be published in due course

We're very grateful to our sponsors this year

Orms is an architecture and design practice based on City Road. As winners of the Chicken Run's ‘Biggest Team’ award three years running, they were eager to host the event in 2019 and have accepted to host again this year. Orms also made last year’s Chicken Run a record breaking fundraiser for ABS, which was an astonishing £20,000.
