Register to pledge your commitment to fundraise for ABS and our mental health support services on the 17th May. We’re asking for a small donation when you sign up. As a thank you we’ll mention your organisation on our website and send over a thank you gift, including a customised event recipe, to support your fundraising activities.
Challenge another practice, organisation, university to join. Tag them on social media and spread the word!
Take some time on this day to encourage your team to have a break together and raise awareness of the mental health support available to them through us and other organisations. You could use the fundraising activity as an opportunity to do this.
£20 – could go towards an annual student membership of AUK (actual cost £30 )
£50 – could go towards one month’s running cost for mental health self-management email support (actual cost £77.11)
£100 – could cover the cost of one hour of therapy for someone struggling with their mental health
We’ve seen a 15% increase in requests for mental health support within our community, and it was the main reason people came to us for support last year.
We partner with Anxiety UK to provide fast track referrals for wellbeing assessments and therapeutic support including CBT, hypnotherapy and counselling. Often people are able to get this support within two weeks of reaching out to us. But we need your support to be able to continue to do so and meet this growing need.
