If you are looking for advice on personal debt, these charities are able to help:

StepChange is a charity offering free debt advice. They could arrange everything from a debt management plan for you to helping you with a budget. They could help you minimise your debt into an affordable monthly payment.

National Debtline have fact sheets giving you information about all sorts of problems such as CCJs, dealing with creditors. You could call for debt advice on 0808 808 400 Monday – Friday between 9am – 8pm or on Saturdays between 9.30am - 1pm.

Payplan is another debt charity who could help you with a debt management plan. They also offer advice on their website.

Mental Health & Money Advice is an online advice service designed to help you understand, manage and improve your mental health and money issues.
