Age UK is the nation’s leading charity for the elderly. You could call their helpline at 0800 678 1602 between 8am-7pm every day, use their Befriending service or visit a local Age UK shop near you.

Alzheimer’s Society can provide support and information for people with Dementia. You can also find out about the research they are funding in Dementia.

Housing Care is a great resource helping you find care homes and supported accommodation around the country.

Independent Age provide information on things like money, health, homes and care for the elderly. You could also arrange to have someone visit or call you once a week.
