Advice and Counselling

You may find that you need help sooner than a GP can provide. Here are some services you could access immediately and have someone to talk to.

Anxiety UK is our partner therapy service. They have a textline 07537 416 905 and infoline 03444 775 774 open from Monday to Friday 9.30am-5.30pm. They can provide Counselling, CBT, Acupuncture and Hypnotherapy on a sliding scale so depending on how much you earn. If you have been working in the Architectural profession for 1 year in the UK you can access this with us for free.

Samaritans is an organisation helping people struggling to cope or feeling suicidal. They provide a free 24 hour telephone line in case you need someone to talk to. Their UK and Republic of Ireland number is 116 123.

Relate is a relationship counselling service. You can access help online, over the phone or by webcam. They also have free 25 minute sessions where you can speak to a counsellor on their website. This service is available Monday to Friday and Sunday evening. You can find out more about this here.

Cruse offer bereavement care and have a national helpline. They operate across England, Wales, Northern Ireland at 0808 808 1677 and Cruse Scotland at 0845 600 2227. They are open from Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm with extended hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until 8pm.
