An inspiring day!

We were thrilled to gather together 18 of our volunteer Ambassadors from across the UK and two of our trustees on 27th January at Pollard Thomas Edwards at our first Ambassador meet up! We spent the afternoon, reviewing our successes from last year, and planning how to work together to achieve our goals for the coming year.

We were also lucky to have sessions run by Catherine Max and Richard Sved from Third Sector Mission Control to get everyone thinking about the Society’s support role in the future and building confidence to fundraise.

It was really good to see everyone in one room - the energy and enthusiasm was fantastic.  We came away with lots of ideas that we are looking to implement, and set some challenges for our Ambassadors which will help to spread the word and inspire support for the Society.

Since then, we have recruited more Ambassadors, including student Ambassadors, and we now have 27 committed and enthusiastic volunteers supporting our cause. We very much look forward to working with them all, and supporting them along the way with their great work!
