What We Do

The Architects Benevolent Society helps members of the architectural profession of all ages, and their families, who have experienced illness, accident, redundancy, unemployment, bereavement or other difficulties.

Our support can include providing financial assistance to help members of the architectural profession with limited means to get by in difficult circumstances. We can help towards the cost of essential household items and repairs, provide respite holidays for carers, and even pay bills in times of particular hardship.

We also offer confidential support and advice. Our qualified welfare team can advise on accessing state benefits and give assistance with housing concerns, needs related to care and mobility in the home (like stair lifts) and much more.

We can help by giving -

  • Financial Assistance. Grants, gifts and interest free loans to help with things like:
    Essential living costs and emergencies
    Home repairs and adaptations
    Disability equipment and care
    Funeral Costs
